Associates

ResearchAbility regularly works with a carefully selected group of expert research associates, including:

Naomi Jones

Naomi is an independent social research consultant with over 16 years’ experience of designing, delivering and commissioning high quality social research. She specialises in working with organisations to help them design, deliver, commission and communicate research.

Before setting up as a consultant, Naomi was Head of the Social Attitudes team at NatCen Social Research, where she led the high-profile British Social Attitudes survey and a team of over 15 researchers. Previous roles have included Head of the Children and Young People team at NatCen and Head of Qualitative Research at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR).

Naomi is highly experienced across research methodologies but has a real passion and love for qualitative research and for supporting organisations to draw as much value from qual as possible.

Naomi works for a range of organisations largely in the public and charity sectors. Current and recent projects include:

  • A review of current approaches to evidence assessment within the What Works community in England for the Early Intervention Foundation.
